How we work together.
Written plainly, because nobody should need a lawyer to preserve their family's home movies.
Estimates and approval
Every project begins with a written, itemized estimate. Nothing is started and nothing is charged until you approve it. Estimates hold for 30 days.
Deposits and payment
A deposit reserves your place in the schedule. The balance is due when the finished work is ready, before delivery.
Care of your originals
Your items are counted and logged on arrival and returned to you when the project is complete. Nothing is discarded without your written permission. While every reasonable care is taken, some older media is fragile and can fail during handling despite careful work; liability is limited to the cost of the services performed on that item.
Timelines
Estimated timelines are given in good faith and can shift with the condition of your media. You'll hear from us if anything changes.
Revisions
Films, books and keepsakes include two rounds of changes. Further changes are quoted before any additional work happens.
Copyright and content
You confirm you have the right to have your materials copied. Commercially produced content can only be duplicated where the law allows it.
